Tastemaker and fashion designer extraordinaire, Glenroy March, creator and chief couturier of the revered design brand, House of D’Marsh has been driving creative conversations in the fashion industry for almost two decades. The Jamaican born fashion powerhouse has agreed to give us unprecedented access to his world, through his exclusive fashion Masterclass. The Masterclass is structured organically around D’Marsh’s more than 20 years’ experience as an independent designer and his remarkable journey from Jamaica to New York, which was critical in building House of D'Marsh, an international brand with multiple divisions. Among them; Haute Couture, Ready-to-Wear, Cosmetics, Lifestyle, Accessories and Rent-The-Look.

The designer will also draw on his experience in higher education, where he has guest lectured on fashion design as a business at top institutions including New York's Fashion Institute of Technology and New York University to Philadelphia University. The D'Marsh brand has graced major runways in the Caribbean, the United States, Canada, Latin America, Asia and Africa.

This class is intimate, interactive and purposeful. D’Marsh will take you behind the scenes to share his personal industry experiences about navigating the pros and cons, the failures and the successes, mistakes made and the lessons he has learned throughout his journey. You will be provided with a step-by-step guide, outlining best practices on how to successfully navigate through obstacles and how you can turn potential stumbling blocks into stepping stones. Attendees will interact directly with D’Marsh, because of his hands-on approach to learning and participation. Classes will be open, candid and exploratory, through open discussion and dialogue.

As part of this masterclass, participants will have an opportunity for a one and one session with D’Marsh, which can be arranged separately. Participants are highly encouraged to utilize this opportunity.
