The inspiration for this season’s collection comes from my roots.In preparing for the future, I thought it was important to reflect on the past , journalist, entrepreneur and Pan-Africanist Marcus Garvey one said, “A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots.” Having traveled to the motherland twice in the past year, this provided a unique opportunity to explore my root.
